1. How do I watch the live channels on Veetle?
1. How do I watch the live channels on Veetle?
Click on any of the channels in the channel list and it will prompt you to download and install Veetle TV Player. After it's installed, video playback should immediately start within your browser.
2. I got a message saying "Can't tune into the channel. This channel may be off air. Or a firewall does not permit Veetle TV to access the server." What shoud I do?
Your PC's firewall or anti-virus software, e.g. Norton, may be incorrectly blocking Veetle, even if you are not behind a traditional hardware firewall. Here are a few things you can do:
- Temporarily turn off the firewall or anti-virus program and see if Veetle works. If so, that's definitely the culprit, TURN IT BACK ON once you are done.
- Configure your firewall software to access Veetle.
- Upgrade your firewall and anti-virus definitions and try again.
- If you are running PeerGuardian, disable it. Veetle is known to be incompatible with this software.
- Completely reinstall your firewall or anti-virus software. For example some of our users report success after uninstalling and then reinstalling Norton 360.

A broadband connection is needed.

1. What do I need to broadcast from my computer?
You'd need a fast computer and a broadband Internet connection. A computer with a CPU of 2GHz should be fast enough. As for the broadband Internet connection, the faster the upload link is, the better the result is. But the default setup of Veetle Broadcaster should work in most cases.
2. Can I broadcast a video file from my computer?
Yes. On the broadcasting page, simply choose File as the 'streaming source'.
